Counts are free everywhere and need no account. You pay to see the parcels themselves — owner, address, lot size, assessed value, last sale and the district that permits more than is built.
One county

Why it is billed yearly. Assessors file once a year — Connecticut towns by 1 May under CGS §7-100l — so the index moves in a yearly step rather than a daily trickle. A monthly bill against that would mostly charge for months in which nothing changed, which is a subscription we would rather not sell. Billed yearly, the renewal lands when there is something to renew for, and the rate works out to $20.75 a month for a county.
