Our reading is derived from what is actually built in each district today, not from the code string — a code like R-15 means different things in different Connecticut towns. It is an estimate, and the regulations linked above are the authority.
Where these names come from
Read the City's own PDF: "Zoning Regulations of the City of Milford, Connecticut" (first adopted 6/11/1930; re-adopted 3/22/2019; amended 10/4/2024 and 5/23/2025), from https://www.milfordct.us/DocumentCenter/View/3750/Zoning-Regulations-Book-2025. District list taken from Article II, Section 2.1 Listing of Districts, with names confirmed against the Article III section headings. Assessor codes map with hyphens restored (R12. = R-12.5, R7.5 = R-7.5, RA = R-A, CDD1 = CDD-1, etc.). Assessor code PRD is not a zoning district here: Section 5.10 Planned Residential Development was eliminated as a permitted use and is retained "for existing PRD's only", so it is not in the Article II district list.
