Where these names come from
Read "Zoning Regulations, Town of Brookfield, Connecticut", effective 2018-December-21, Revised Through 2026-June-12 (https://www.brookfieldct.gov/DocumentCenter/View/310). District names come from Article 4.1 Purposes, Article 5 Special Districts headings, and Article 3.2 Residential Districts. Brookfield has no single consolidated district table; I also consulted the official Zoning Districts map legend bound into the CT Siting Council copy of the regulations (portal.ct.gov docket DO548, map last revised 1/8/2019) to confirm the map codes for I-1 HO and TCD-P, which the regulation text refers to only by name ("I-1 Height Overlay Zone", "TCD Perimeter Overlay Zone"). Note a spelling split within the ordinance itself: Article 4.1 writes the gateway zones as CG-N and CG-S while the map legend writes them C-GN and C-GS. The assessor's C-GN is the same district as the text's CG-N; the ordinance-text spelling is returned. All 12 assessor codes matched. IMPORTANT: the six residential districts (R-7, R-15, R-40, R-60, R-80, R-100) are enumerated in Section 3.2 as bare codes under the heading "Residential Districts (R)" - the ordinance gives no individual official name for any of them, so per instruction their labels are left empty and matched=false. They are genuine districts present in the ordinance, not unmatched assessor codes.
