Where these names come from
ecode360.com is behind Cloudflare and 403s to fetchers (and archive.org has no snapshot of the zoning chapter), so I read the same eCode360 text through a text-extraction proxy of https://ecode360.com/46408027 (Chapter A220 Zoning, Sec. 1.3.1 'Districts') and https://ecode360.com/46408299 (Section 3, Zoning Districts) plus the chapter table of contents at https://ecode360.com/9207545. Edition: 'Adopted by the Zoning Commission of the Town of Stratford 12-17-2024, effective 1-1-2025', with amendments noted through 2026 (latest listed 6-8-2026). The core list is the district table in Sec. 1.3.1, which gives Type of District / District Name / Abbreviation(s) verbatim. Four districts added to Section 3 after that table was written are included from their own section headings: CRD (3.3.5), BAZ (3.3.6, added 9-24-2025) and MPD (3.3.9). One internal inconsistency: Sec. 1.3.1 lists 'Housing Opportunity Development | HOD' while the Sec. 3.3.2 heading reads 'Housing Opportunity Zone (HOZ)' - I returned the Sec. 1.3.1 spelling. 'Airport Zoning' (Sec. 3.6.1) is given two abbreviations, RZ and ADD, with no separate name for either, so both carry the ordinance's single district name. All 8 assessor codes matched.
