Our reading is derived from what is actually built in each district today, not from the code string — a code like R-15 means different things in different Connecticut towns. It is an estimate, and the regulations linked above are the authority.
Where these names come from
Read the town's own PDF: Zoning Regulations, Town of Enfield, 'Revised to June 11, 2020' (enfield-ct.gov/DocumentCenter/View/18177), Table 1.10 'List of Zoning Districts'; the town posts only section-by-section text amendments after that date, no newer consolidated edition. TV, HV33 and HVBL are not defined anywhere in the ordinance text (nor in the 2001 edition, which used TVC for Thompsonville Village Center); they do appear as codes on the town GIS zoning layer, so they look like map/assessor shorthand for the Thompsonville and Hazardville areas, but the ordinance gives no such district, so they are left unmatched rather than guessed.
