Our reading is derived from what is actually built in each district today, not from the code string — a code like R-15 means different things in different Connecticut towns. It is an estimate, and the regulations linked above are the authority.
Where these names come from
The town regulations page 403s to fetchers; located the current PDF via a Wayback CDX index of the town's uploads directory. Source read: 'Town of South Windsor Zoning Regulations', originally effective March 7, 1938, revision zoning_regulations_12-29-24.pdf (revised through December 29, 2024); district table is identical in the 5-28-23 revision. Districts taken from Article 1, Sec. 1.1 Districts (Zoning District Designation / Principal Use table). The Sec. 1.1 table lists only 'MF Multifamily'; Sec. 3.4 names the zone 'Multifamily Residential Zone (MF-A or MF-AA)', so MF-A and MF-AA are listed as well and the assessor's MFA/MFAA map to them. DRZ and DA-15 are retained in the ordinance's own table but marked deleted (Appendices F and C). Unmatched assessor codes: RROS, A20OS, A30OS, A40OS, AA30O and RRSRD are base-zone codes with an assessor suffix for open-space-subdivision or senior-residence-development status - the ordinance regulates Open Space Subdivisions at Sec. 7.14 and SRD at Sec. 7.17 but establishes no districts by those codes. MZ and IP appear nowhere in the regulations.
